Hi, I just wanted to welcome any new members and thank them for joining.
Hopefully, soon, we'll get some conversation flowing and this will turn out to
be a real fun club! ^_^

Thanks,
Heidi
I added some new links and photo albums for you to put your favorite pictures of
Rachel and her characters in so please go ahead and do so! Talk to you later!

Heidi
Hiya! Thankyou sooo much for the invite!
I
have searched for ages on the net and not found
anything on Rachel, so I was verra happy when I got the
invite!
I only know her from Pokemon...but I love Team
Rocket especially (hate Misty, like her voice)
so
anyways, thanks again!
Mia
^_^
a rachel lillis
club!

cool.

*awkward pause* hmmmmmmm

oh yeah, thanks for
telling me about the club mia..... *another awkward
pause*

okay, i've run out of things to say, so i'm gonna go
now,

luv, 'liner and pink sparkly lipgloss,
rachael
Well welcome then ^_^ !
I hope we'll have
more to say in the future. As sort of a conversation
starter what's your favourite voice that Rachel does?
Mine is Jigglypuff because that character reminds me
of myself in a lot of ways *lol* I sing all the time
and have quite a temper when people don't watch my
show... among other little quirks heheh.

Talk to
you later,
Heidi
well, i love Jesse, obviously, but i really like
venonat, mainly cos its the only pokemon i can do an
impression. oh but i like togepi as well.... shes too damn
talented! i love all her voices!

luv, 'liner and the
obligatory pink sparkly glitter,
rachael
yay! Hiya Rachael, yay for kewl names!
^_^

Well, My favourite is , undoubtably, Jesse! She is
absolutely wicked and I wanna grow up to be just like
Jesse!

She is also realistic, well, kinda, she has
realistically sized legs....not sure about the waist...but
that's just a well-built person's
perspective..*ahem*

So, yeah! Jesse! yay! Now I'm being incoherent, I'm
on a pizza high!

I also like Togepi...only
because I do the best damn Togepi impresion..after Ms.
Lillis, natuarally! ^_^

I sent off my first letter
to her today...hope she replies....but then again,
she's probably too busy to respond to my obsessive
sounding fanmail, I did write it at 11.30 last night, then
sealed it, so I can't be held responsible for the
content...

Sorry, I've gone really off the point, so in
conclusion
I love Jesse!

Mia
^_^
Good luck with the letter! I haven't even gotten
up the guts to write one to her. It's so hard to
remember all the things I'd like to ask her, you know? But
I hope she responds to your letter soon! You're an
inspiration to us ^_^

Heidi
*blushes* please don't be inspired by me!!
damn...as a role model I'm gonna have to be responsible, or
I could be a sell out or...sorry, where was
I?

The thing with me is, I have a tendency to not let
nerves and reservations affect me until AFTER I've done
them, which has gotten me into all kinds of horrible
trouble in the past, but anyway...
I just sat down and
wrote it. I had a coupla things I wanted to ask, so I
jotted them in the first paragraph and then I basically
rambled for a couple of sides about how much I love
pokemon...well, there was other stuff too, but the moral is, if
you want to do something, do it!
Just as long as
it's legal!

Luv, sparkly things and anime
characters,
Mia
^_^
Hi, guys! It's so cool that there's a club here!
I did a Yahoo search and lo and behold! It's a
little hard to find information on Rachael-san, like
what she's been up to lately and what is going on with
her--there is a web domain for her, but no web site! I do
know, thanks to a couple of friends of mine who always
seem to know things in advance (hi Sherry!:) that
Rachael has worked on "RG Veda" and "Night on the
Galactic Railroad." And I think she is working on the dub
of the Utena movie, too!
Thank you for the welcome!! Yes, I have seen the
Utena movie, and it took me a couple of viewings to
really get into it, but I really liked it. I will check
out the url you posted, thanks! Does it seem that
Rachael keeps a lower profile than a lot of other VA's?
As far as I can tell she's not going to any anime
conventions this year. :( The Utena series is really cool, I
love ChuChu! Can't wait to see da rest! And I just got
finished watching Slayers Next, which really was awesome.
It's strange to watch Captain Tylor and then
Slayers--Yuriko and Martina are so different.
The Utena movie
is really beautiful (saw it at a con last year)--the
animation is a little different but it's sooo cool. If you
liked the series you'll probably like the movie. :]
I must say, I was verra happy when I got the
invite to this club!

I've tried to find videos
of Slayers, Utena or anything rachael related in
sheffield but there is nothing, and the forbiddden planet
store in London doesn't open on sundays
*grumbles*

That probaby made no sense...anyways, see you all
soon!

Mia
^_^
(still no reply to the letter)
That sucks you haven't been able to find any
Utena or Slayers videos where you live, Mia :(
Maybe you could try ordering them online like from next
planet over or the right stuff company??
I think
those places sell those.

And I can't wait to
see the Utena movie. I love Utena so much, she just
rocks! and Chuchu is so cute too. I'm getting really
excited because next month there's a big anime con where
I live and Crispin Freeman(sp?) aka Touga is
coming! Yay!

Heidi
why do no anime conventions come to Northern
England? and when they do, why is Rachael Lillis not at
theM?

well, that's enough of a rant...now I'm all tuckered
out!
Later
Mia
^_^
(Still nno reply)
>why do no anime conventions come to Northern
>England? and when they do, why is Rachael Lillis not at
theM?

I dunno--do many VA's go to conventions in other
countries? Maybe if somebody who ran a con in England asked
CPM or something, hmm...
Hi! I'm new here. My name is MaidenCeres and I'm
a fan of Rachel Lillis (but mostly Crispin Freeman
though). So far, I've only heard her voice in Pokemon,
Slayers, Utena, and I think she was in Shamanic Princess
too.

I just stopped by to say "Hi!" Talk to you later.
Bye!

~Ceres
Hi, MaidenCeres! I'm a fan of VAs, too. It would
be nice to see a documentary or something of voice
actors at work, just to see what the work is like.
I
found out that Rachael is going to be doing a voice in
Booogie Pop Phantom! (don't know which character, though)
It's supposed to be a very cool show.
I'm Luci, and I live in Rochester, NY. I'm not as
big a viewer of anime as you guys--I tend to watch a
few titles that are recommended to me, and that leads
to other titles, etc. I really like Utena, Pokemon
(yes, Pokemon--I love Team Rocket!), Laputa, Only
Yesterday (Miyazaki film), and there are probably several
more that I'm leaving out because it's like 5 am (I
can't sleep!). I love music, too--always been a
classical music freak, my favorites are Sibelius and
Beethoven. And 80's music (I know, laughter ensues) and I
love Lorena McKennitt's stuff, too. I'm just starting
to get into J-Pop--someone lended me Megumi
Hayashibara's Bertemu CD.

Anyway, just giving a few
details about me, woooooo, fascinating :]! What do you
guys like?
Okay, first off welcome to our new memeber! yay!
Secondly, what I'm like.. hmm.. well my name's Heidi, I'm
18 and I live in Chicago. I first heard Rachel
Lillis on Pokemon back when it debuet here in 1998 and
have been a fan of her's since then. My favourite
anime titles are Pokemon (duh), Sailor Moon, Oh My
Goddess, Ranma 1/2, Utena, Maison Ikkoku, Card Captor
Sakura (but *not* the dubed version, they totally ruined
it IMO), Video Girl Ai, and Slayers. I have yet to
watch Captin Tyler but my brother says I'll love it so
maybe I should put that down. I'm also into manga of
the above listed titles but also Call Me Princess,
Aquarium, Prince Princess, Shadow Lady, Saint Tail, and
Miracal Girls. I also love other comic books, mainly
indie ones. I'm very much into acting and hope to be an
actress one day (maybe even a VA! Who knows?)right now
I've only down local plays, but it's a start right? I
also love music. My favourite bands are silverchair,
the Smiths (and Morrissey), Bis, Magic Dirt, Frenzal
Rhomb, a Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Tori Amos, a
bunch of J-Pop (Pizzicato 5, Ami Sazuki, Puffy, Shonen
Knife, ect) and a lot of other really random bands. I
play guitar and sing too. I hope that wasn't too long
of a bio.. but on another subject has anyone found
clubs for other VAs? just wondering.

Heidi
Hi! I wished they had a magazine for VAs like
they do in Japan. It'll be cool to see your favorite
VAs' pics, read a lot of interviews, and
more.
Rachel's in Boogie Pop Phantom too? (Crispin's also in
it...but he won't tell his club who's he's voicing. ;_;
But I narrowed it down to three people that I think
he's doing.)
Talk to you later^_^

~Ceres
Hi! I'm Aunna, but I go by Ceres. I'm 18 and from
Suffolk, VA. I first heard Rachel's voice in the Slayers
and Utena, and then started branching off to other
anime titles she has done. I've been into anime for
about 6 (going onto 7) years and love it dearly. I'm
more of a Crispin Freeman fan than Rachel's, but I
like them both a lot. My favorite animes are Rurouni
Kenshin, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Slayers, Card Captor
Sakura, Tokyo Babylon, Record of Lodoss War (both
versions), and the list goes on. I love listening to J-pop,
but I have a limited amout of knowledge about who's
out in the J-pop world. I also listen to No Doubt,
Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Goo Goo Dolls, Garbage,
Backstreet Boys, and more. I would love to act, but I have
no experience in that field. I also love singing,
but I'm not as good as I was in 8th grade.

I
think that's about it.
~Ceres

Heidi, I know
of yet another VA club. There's one for Crispin
Freeman, the voice actor for Zelgadiss from Slayers, Touga
Kiyruu from Revolutionary Girl Utena, Captain Tylor from
Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Kagestu from Shamanic Princess,
and many more titles. The people there are pretty
cool, and Crispin is also a member of the club. He
posts every now and then, but he's always online.
hi, my name is Jessica Tooma. I'm 21 years old
and i love anime! Rachael Lillis is one of my
favorite english seiyuu.
I have seen Pokemon, The
Slayers, Utena, and Captain Tylor
I heard about this
club from maidenceres, she's
also a member of the
Crispin Freeman fansite of which i also belong.

I
do however have a question. According to theis site,
this club was founded april 15 2001. i have searched
for a rachael lillis club on yahoo after that date
and this club did not show up on the search. (i
entered Rachael Lillis in the search menu) weird, ne? I
was trying to start up a rachael lillis club myself
because of that. You beat me to it!

-J (aka the
2-ma)
are you talking about a-kon? I will be there as well. I will be working at the
komik market. I'm not as cool as Crispin but I'm entertaining.

-Jessica
(aka the 2ma)
Welcome new member! That is weird that it didn't
show up in the Yahoo search you did.. hmm.. Oh well! I
hope people will find this club somehow! Right now I'm
joining the Crispin Freeman club so I'll be over there
too. Maybe one day Rachel will find this club and
start posting too, eh? that'd rock! I'm planing on
writing her a letter and telling her about it. You think
that'd be a good idea?

Also, yeah, I'd love it
if there was a VA magazine here like there is in
Japan. I'm so curious to find out more about all the VAs
from the anime and other cartoons I watch that every
time I get into a new one I go straight to the
imdb.com and run a search on them! But sadly sometimes
nothing comes up *sigh* oh well. Maybe one day we'll get
a magazine.

And yes I was talking about
Anime Central convention.. I'm so excited for it...even
though Crispin isn't coming anymore *sigh* Lisa Ortiz is
though! yay Lisa!

Heidi
