From SolarFire 5's Brady file:

"The star indicates the strength or courage to go forward in life. To
seize the moment, to act quickly. Its more shadowy side can lead to
aggressive action, to acting without caring or concern."

From SolarFire's Brady file:

"All of the Royal Stars promise great potential and success as long as
a particular human nemesis is avoided. In Regulus' case, the issue is
that of revenge and if strong in a chart, the individual needs to
avoid this temptation."

From SolarFire 5's Brady file:

"This star has a strong effect in event charts indicating issues of
fire and flood. On a personal note it seems to indicate an individual
who will take many risks and is therefore prone to move from one
difficulty to another."

I'm using noon AHST right now; he's got Jupiter aligned with Altair
and Albireo, Pluto aligned with Thuban, and Chiron aligned with Deneb
Adige (Alpha Cygni)--might have something to do with his political
ability.

Plus he has Saturn aligned with Terebellum (Omega Sagittarii)--does
that relate to the Islamophobic smears being circulated about him by
his political enemies?

Also, the Sun aligned with Acubens (Alpha Cancri) and Kocab (Beta
Ursae Minoris), South Node aligned with Adhafera (Zeta Leonis), Al
Jabhah (Eta Leonis) and Alphard (Alpha Hydrae)...and Vesta aligned
with Algol.

woo hoo, I use July 4 as well but I generally try not to pin it
down time wise because it is an idealized day, so while the spirit
of the day fits the US quite well, pinning down a time.... except
that I note that anything that relates to an 18 Aqu Moon on that
chart seems significant, so I suppose a later 5 pm ish time is not a
bad choice as I believe it puts the chart there, several people use
the paris pease treaty which was signed in September of 1783 adn
still others use the constitution or the articles of confederation
or the actual signing of the declaration ... Only John Hancock
signed on the 4th, everyone else signed Aug 1 and 2, there were a
lot of people to sign, it didnt' happen quite that fast! :) so as
you can see several different ideas on that front! the September
dates for both Consittution and Paris Peace Treaty do have strong
charts, also the Pilgrims coming to US is a Virgo chart, so there is
reason to look at september charts. anyway I like the 4 july chart
myself!

In the Dec. 2007/Jan 2008 issue of The Mountain Astrologer, an article by Pat Taglilatelo, editor of AstroDatabank, gives a time of 1:06 PM, but with a C rating, since the time isn't verified. I wasn't clear where the 19:54 hour came from--was that a birth time for Obama or did it refer to something else?

The 1:06 PM time also gves him 19 Leo 29 on the midheaven, which would have been affected by the eclipse of this past week at 17 Aquarius.

I have found eclipses involving the 4th/10th house axis are the most difficult to
predict. I have seen many--I mean MANY--cases of job promotions and upward
prestige mobility when an eclipse has fallen on this axis. I've also seen quite a
few where it didn't mean that at all.  A safe prediction: "change" in matters
that have to do with the 4th/10th house. Which, of course, could mean anything.

A number of astrologers have said--and I agree--that it's usually the candidate
with the worst aspects who  wins. Not too surprising, when you consider what
it would mean to be prez.

Merak (Beta Ursae Majoris) is on the Midheaven of that
chart.

"This fixed star is credited with increasing the power
of the native to get on in life..." (Ebertin/Hoffmann)

Of course, this time does have a C rating...

Hi Mark,
So here it is : a part of the newsletter regarding birth datas .

"
ELECTION CANDIDATES USA

BARACK OBAMA
>from Marguerite dar Boggia, US
His birth time zone is AHST and not daylight time.
His MC is 19:29 Leo and not 4 Leo. I apologize for this error. The
Solar Eclipse on 2/7/08 at 17:45 Aquarius is on his IC/MC (19:29 Leo).
That is excellent. It suggests change relating to family life and/or
career. Solar Eclipse on 1/26/09 (6:30 Aquarius) activates P. MC
semi-sextile Part of Fortune. Eclipses at 9:32 Leo and 24:17 Aquarius
in August, 2008, activating Obama's secondary progressions are: P.
full
Moon (12:32 Aquarius) opposition Sun (12:15 Leo) exactly. This is
exceptionally auspicious.

Sun rules the Leo MC and transiting Sun activates this on election
day.
Progressed ASC (25:28) Sag. TRINES natal Uranus in the 10th house. It
can suggest change connected to his career. The transiting true N.Node
(13:53 Aquarius) is on his Prog. Moon. Progr. Venus conjunct NNode;
(with Venus, victory is very possible) Progr. Uranus conjunct N.Node.
It suggests the people want change in government policy. Progr. Mars &
Mercury semi-sextile natal Mars (co-ruler of Scorpio ASC.) .Progr.
Saturn trine Mars. Progr. Saturn sextile East Point. All favorable for
election. He does have Progr. Vertex square ASC; progr. (almost
exactly
stationery direct) Jupiter quincunx N.Node. (He may be frustrated in
achieving his beneficially constructive goals).

It is interesting how the eclipses work. The eclipse on 2/7/08 at
17:45
Aquarius activated the P. Vertex square Obama's ascendant and it
activated Hillary's P. Pluto on Mars and P. Saturn square ascendant
and
Mercury and P. So. Node conjunct ascendant. The lunar eclipse on Feb.
21 at 1:50 Virgo is on her MC and it activated P. Venus square Sun.
She
just spent $5 million dollars on her campaign.

HILLARY CLINTON
>from Arlan Wise to Marguerite dar Boggia.
I know this is hearsay, but, my chiropractor has treated Bill and
Hillary when they come here (Martha's Vineyard) in the summer. She
told
me she had a conversation with Hillary about how they have the same
astrology-both Scorpios with Pisces moons and both Leo rising. I
haven't seen a time that gives Hillary a Leo ascendant but that's what
she says she has. it definitely negates the 8:02 am time and adds to
the confusion.

> Re from Marguerite dar Boggia, US
If that PM chart is used, then she definitely loses. Not only does P.
Venus square natal Sun but P. ASC squares natal Venus. In addition P.
Saturn squares Mercury. East Point also squares her Sun. P. Jupiter
trines Pluto & Mars in the 3rd house of favorable publicity. Neptune
rules Pisces MC. Mercury rules IC. The Part of Fortune is on the
eclipse degree 6 Aquarius, but it doesn't aspect anything except
progressed planets which are unfavorable aspects.
I think her Mother would know if she gave birth in the AM or PM.
Hillary could be mistaken or deliberately wants to mislead.

MITT ROMNEY
>from Marguerite dar Boggia, US
Mitt Romney born 3/12/47 9:51 AM EST Detroit MI.
Solar eclipse 1/26/09 (6:30 Aquarius) activates P MC sextile natal MC
(6:41 Aquarius) plus the Part of Fortune, plus N Mean Node! P. N.Mean
Node sextile natal Saturn, co-ruler of Aquarius MC; P. Neptune TRINE
Venus & Part of Fortune in the 10th house of career! P. East Point
trine Mars; P. MC conjunct Mars (a change in his career?); P. East
Point quincunx MC can also indicate a change in his career.

Lunar Eclipse 8/16/08 at 24 Aquarius activates P. Sun (21:40 Taurus)
sextile natal Sun; P. Venus semi-sextile Sun; P. Moon semi-sextile
Sun;
P. Mercury semi-sextile Uranus (ruler of MC); P. Venus biquintile
Moon.
The Venus aspects can reflect joy and pleasure however it can also be
from business financial investments. He is a billionaire. The main
unfavorable aspects are P. Saturn (3:18 Leo) semi-square natal Uranus
(17:51 Gemini), RULER of MC and P. Venus semi-square N.Node; The
eclipse 8/1/08 at 9:30 Leo activates P. Pluto conjunct natal Pluto, in
the 4th house; square Natal East Point.

JOHN McCAIN
Senator John McCain born 8/29/36 at 9 AM or rectified by Marc Penfield
to 8:49 AM EST in Panama Canal 79W48 9N10.
Solar eclipse of 3/19/07 (28 Pisces) activated P. Mars (27:05 Virgo)
trine natal Moon (26:56 Cap), RULER of Cancer MC! P. Moon (29 Virgo)
sextiles natal Pluto in the 10th house. P. MC trines natal Moon. P.
N.Node semi-sextiles Moon. P. Venus does not quite square natal Venus,
however if the 8:49 AM chart is correct, then P. ASC squares Venus.
(experiencing disappointment in the election)
I believe Barack Obama has the most auspicious aspects."

Bye
Gaby

One key phrase that I have found fits those with Terebellum
contacts is "a warrior's code" - such as you would find with
samurai, or US Marines - and so forth...

an asset, I think, to a politician under constant pressure and
attack.

So what is his birth time and where did it come from? Was it a birth
certificate?

Or the Nazis; somebody linked Terebellum to anti-Semitism. (We might
have discussed this here before.) Arabs are a Semitic people also, and
Islam, while not followed exclusively by Arabs, originated among Arabs
in what is now Saudi Arabia, and uses Arabic as a liturgical language.
So I thought there was a possibility Terebellum had to do with
Islamophobia and anti-Arab prejudice.

Mark, the 1:06 PM birth time  for Obama came from the Dec/Jan 2008 issue of The Mountain Astrologer (p 87) in an article by Pat Taglilatelo who is editor at Astrodatabank. The RR for it is "C" since it can't be verifierd, but was from Frances McEvoy quoting an anomyous source who reportedly obtained the time from Obama.

So what is his birth time and where did it come from? Was it a birth
certificate?

Hello Dears,

This Isar newsletter mixed up everything J

Regarding Hillary:

HILLARY CLINTON
>from Arlan Wise to Marguerite dar Boggia.
I know this is hearsay, but, my chiropractor has treated Bill and
Hillary when they come here (Martha's Vineyard) in the summer. She told
me she had a conversation with Hillary about how they have the same
astrology-both Scorpios with Pisces moons and both Leo rising. I
haven't seen a time that gives Hillary a Leo ascendant but that's what
she says she has. it definitely negates the 8:02 am time and adds to
the confusion.

If this is true, then her birth hour is 0.53

Which gives her Leo rising, and leaves the moon in Pisces.

Now how do we know what it exact ??

Until I see a birth time for her from a birth
certificate, I'm going to use noon.

Huge Hole Found in the Universe

By Robert Roy Britt

Senior Science Writer

The universe has a huge hole in it that dwarfs anything else of its
kind. The discovery caught astronomers by surprise.

The hole is nearly a billion light-years across. It is not a black
hole, which is a small sphere of densely packed matter. Rather, this
one is mostly devoid of stars, gas and other normal matter, and it's
also strangely empty of the mysterious "dark matter" that permeates
the cosmos. Other space voids have been found before, but nothing on
this scale.

Astronomers don't know why the hole is there.

"Not only has no one ever found a void this big, but we never even
expected to find one this size," said researcher Lawrence Rudnick of
the University of Minnesota.

Rudnick's colleague Liliya R. Williams also had not anticipated this
finding.

"What we've found is not normal, based on either observational studies
or on computer simulations of the large-scale evolution of the
universe," said Williams, also of the University of Minnesota.

The finding will be detailed in the Astrophysical Journal.

The universe is populated with visible stars, gas and dust, but most
of the matter in the universe is invisible. Scientists know something
is there, because they can measure the gravitational effects of the
so-called dark matter. Voids exist, but they are typically relatively
small.

The gargantuan hole was found by examining observations made using the
Very Large Array (VLA) radio telescope, funded by the National Science
Foundation.

There is a "remarkable drop in the number of galaxies" in a region of
sky in the constellation Eridanus, Rudnick said.

The region had been previously been dubbed the "WMAP Cold Spot,"
because it stood out in a map of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB)
radiation made by NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotopy Probe (WMAP)
satellite. The CMB is an imprint of radiation left from the Big Bang,
the theoretical beginning of the universe.

"Although our surprising results need independent confirmation, the
slightly colder temperature of the CMB in this region appears to be
caused by a huge hole devoid of nearly all matter roughly 6 to 10
billion light-years from Earth," Rudnick said.

Photons of the CMB gain a small amount of energy when they pass
through normal regions of space with matter, the researchers
explained. But when the CMB passes through a void, the photons lose
energy, making the CMB from that part of the sky appear cooler.

Hi

Fascinated by this event - an official and ceremonial apology to Australia's
aborigines for the suffering and indignities inflicted upon them over the years,
most particularly the snatching of children away from their families;
I went looking to what was happening in the sky in 1910, when the kidnappings began --

There was a Solar Ecl on May 9 1910 at 17 Taurus 43; we just had
an eclipse on Feb 7 at 17 Aquarius 44!

That 1910 eclipse was at the very earliest stars of the Taurus Bull, which
in mythology, was Zeus, in disguise to kidnap Europa!

Uranus was at 25 Cap 12 rx, aligned with stars of Indus, the Indian, which
I have found relates to all indigenous people, not only Amerinds.

The Node in 1910 was 28 Taurus; the Canberra Asc of the Feb 7 08 Ecl was
29 Taurus; these are the Pleiades, the Weeping Sisters (they bring rain, and it
was raining at the ceremony; in symbolizm, rain = tears; in this case, they were
tears of both sorrow (remembrance) and joy.

Here's a couple of "doozies" - at the "Saying Sorry" evemt. Mars was
25 Gemini 05; at the 1910 Eclipse, Pluto was 25 Gemini 29.
The 1910 Uranus was 25 Cap 12 rx; "Sorry" event Venus was 24 Cap 07 (again,
an alignment with Indus stars).

Wow. I just checked Australia's charts; the 1910 Uranus and the ceremony's
Venus was on the 1788 chart's Mercury and the Jan 1 1901, 1:25 PM's MC!

At the 1910 Eclipse run for Canberra, the Placidian 3rd cusp is 15 Sag 25; the
Uranian planet Cupido (marriage, family, the arts, "the urge to merge") at the
ceremony was 15 Sag 40, so you could say that a sense of family and community
had come into the consciousness of whatever was happening in 1910. (Cupido is a
bit slower than Pluto - it has a 262.5 year orbit).

The recent Aquarius eclipse aligned with the stars of little Delphinus, the Dolphin, a
benefic, helpful critter.

Good to have some good news for a change!

Sometimes, just once in a while, humanity gets it right.

Love, Diana

I have been hearing about the website known as Grouply
on other lists.

According to Hazel Goodman on Be-Urania, it's supposed
to be a social website similar to Facebook that you
can customize to handle all your discussion group
e-mails. It will list them, organize them, rate them
and highlight "popular" topics for you.

It does this, apparently, by downloading e-mails from
all your groups, storing them in Grouply's database,
then analyzing the message content to "add value to
your discussion experience." It archives these posts
on its system.

The key to its access is that you have to divulge your
private Yahoo ID and password in order to set up your
account, and once the group is in its databases there
are fewer restrictions as to who has access to that
content.

It is...

...*a Yahoo terms-of-service violation*...

to give away your Yahoo ID and password, for one
thing, and for another, there is the potential for
criminal hacking. You could have all your Yahoo
account information (e-mail, groups, everything)
exposed, your list memberships hacked into, your
personal e-mails made known. Grouply is creating an
opt-out feature for group owners, slowly and
grudgingly, under pressure, and this makes me nervous.

I'm not going to give Grouply members access to my
groups. It doesn't look like there are any on here.
And I'm making a new rule for my lists:

Membership on Grouply or similar websites is now a
bannable offense.
