This is a group who will be discussing and receiving updates for the The Crypto-Capers Series. This is a new children's detectives series that is interactive. In order for the reader to solve the case they must solve cryptograms and puzzles. This series is great for children because it is interactive. As soon as the reader picks up the book they are immediately apart of the team. They are doing what the detectives are doing, seeing what the detectives are seeing. Children are actually involved in the story and participating which will keep their interest. This series works on various levels. It works on reading comprehension as well puzzle solving and critical thinking. It keeps the avid readers attention as well as creating interest for the reluctant reader. This is a great series that works on many levels and can be used in the classroom or in a homeschool setting.
