Description

An informal association of homeowners of The Cloisters subdivision (120 lots), in Morro Bay, CA. This private and restricted forum is to discuss tax-assessment, beach access, pot-luck get-togethers, etc. In this forum we present facts, balanced views, open discussions, and respectful debate. By sending e-mail to just one address -- thecloisters@yahoogroups.com -- you can contact every one of your neighbors who is a member of this group. The address of this group is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thecloisters/ There are two easy ways to join this group: (1) send an e-mail to thecloisters-subscribe@yahoogroups.com (you will be asked in an e-mail from the moderator to supply your name, phone #, and address in the Cloisters), or, if you would like for me to add you to this group, send your name, phone #, street address, and e-mail address to Mike Baird at mike@[remove]mikebaird.com. <<== remove the "[remove]" - required to fool spam robots. Currently, posts are moderated until you have posted at least one successful on-topic message, and have registered at the group web page. Non-members (non-homeowners) can no longer attempt to post to the group (due to increased spam attempts) as once allowed in the past, and they can't read current or past postings, or replies. Always assume that anything you post here could be leaked and widely distributed over the Internet. Yahoo no longer saves attachments to posts, so please try not to use them. NEW! 9-29-03 non-members (e.g., City Council members) can now post to the group... but all posts are moderated. Moderation means that postings must by "on-topic." Content is generally NOT moderated. All members should further register at the Group web page (with a free Yahoo ID) so that they can participate in polls and surveys, and take advantage of other advanced Y! Group features.
