The Center Project (TCP) is a grassroots organization dedicated to establishing a new, nonprofit community center that will focus on the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and ally (LGBTQQA) residents of Mid-Missouri-- an 8 county area. This community center, centrally located in downtown Columbia, Missouri, will provide a safe, reliable meeting and program space for LGBTQQA groups and will offer educational opportunities about LGBTQQA issues for all interested parties. The center will help address a significant yet unmet need of support for underserved LGBTQQA groups within the region, particularly youth, families, and those living in rural communities.

Members of this list consist of GLBTQA (gay, lesbian, bi, trans, queer, ally) residents or organizations of mid-Missouri. Those who plan to be actively involved in "The Center Project" of Mid-MO are encouraged to join this list serve. Meeting reminders minutes (working group and committees), announcements /articles related to center development, and other center business messages are distributed via this list.
