Here's something else from Yahoo that they AREN'T making a big
announcement about:


Yahoo is now using something called "Web Beacons" to track
Yahoo Group users around the net and see what you're doing and where
you are going - similar to cookies.

        Take a look at their updated privacy statement:

        About half-way down the page, in the section "Outside the
Yahoo! Network", you'll see a little "click here" link that will let
you "opt-out" of their new method of snooping. I strongly recommend
that you do this.

        Once you have clicked that link, you are opted out. Notice the
"Success" message the top the next page. Be careful because on that
page there is a "Cancel Opt-out" button that, if clicked, will
*undo** the opt-out. Feel free to forward this to other groups. Of
course, if you don't mind Yahoo recording every website and every
group you visit you should ignore this message.

Yahoo didn't send out nice little messages about this particular
item,
though.

Hey 7th Heaven Fans,  we started something new called the 7HFC (7th
Heaven Fan Connection).  Some fans maybe have heard of the BFC
(Backstreet  Fan Connection), the ACFC (Aaron Carter Fan
Connection), or the DSFC (Dream Street Fan Connection), well we
started all of those as well.  Basically what this is is it's just
where we make a website and we make it link to where fans can find
other fans to chat with and just become friends.    Something we are
just starting this time though is we are making it so fans can send
us their favorite pics of the boys as well as the information listed
at the bottom.  To become a member of DSFC just e-mail the following
