This is hard! I can give you several scenes from each book. Next time say
which book. I don't want to sort change anyone. I instantly thought of the
ending scene of through the storm when they hear papa ray and they run to him.
I am about to cry now. When they got married and Raimond is stroking his wife
without realizing it. Vivid- when Nate thought Vivid had died and they had to
hold him back. Edge of Midnight - when her and Mykal first meet and the t shirt
she is wearing. The scene when they go underwear shopping. I am going to stop
now. I have a million more.

Needed some rest. Made myself cook yesterday. Been surviving on leftover pizza
and oatmeal since Sunday. So yesterday it was roast chicken, collards, mac and
cheese and rolls. Fell alseep at 730. So got a good sleep and am ready to rock

who has taken over the bunnymama's body but this version has gotten a job, got
her own place and is talking and acting like a grown up!!! The job's only

very clueless child! She's been talking to the boy everyday she says but is not
planning on letting him back in her life - which is a good thing. He's still
living with the stripper, and supposedly hating it but has no where else to go.
Sigh. We keep him in prayer, but I'm truly glad bunnymama is getting it together
and me getting to hang out with the grandbunny is just the icing on the cake.
So, keep the prayers coming.

Hi, folks,
Yes, that's true. They all have a good scene or two like that. But I have to say
the scene in Topaz where Dixon is making love to Kate to take away her fear of
thunderstorms is right up there at the top of my list. Makes me wish I was back
home...Alaska never gets thunderstorms cuz there's no humidity. (Before you
start wondering why black folks are here, the military made us, and I hate it.)
Plus, back home we have an acre of private land and a REALLY big front
porch...covered to protect you from the rain, but open enough to let you feel
the breeze. Can't wait to get out of this icebox and remind my hubby why he,
too, is a Beverly Jenkins fan! LOL

Best,
Eboni

One of my favorite scenes is from Vivid:

The breeze felt fresh, invigorating, so much so that she set down the bucket and turned her face to the wind. It rushed over her, filling her with its sonds and vitality, and evoking fond memories of being young.........She took a quick glance around and, fairly confident she wouldn't be seen at such an early hour, she released her hold on her robe, then slowly extend her arms.

 His arousal was immediate.
If he had any sense he'd move away from the window and forget what he'd seen, but she called to him like a siren, and he'd already become ensnared.
He watched as she resumed her slow twirls. Her hands held the robe wide again and it blossomed. Vivid knew she should pump her water, but the wind felt so invigorating and so glorious she let herself enjoy it a few moments longer. Truth be told, she wished at the moment to be on a deserted island where she could safely shed every stitch of clothing and feel the wind as nature had intended, on her bare back, her arms, her legs, her thighs. Decidedly unladylike thoughts, but Vivid didn't care. She felt free.

Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring. Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl. We should've known... My favorites are from TOPAZ when Dix first sees Catherine for the first time, interupting her marriage to Rupert, then knocking him out wiyh one punch.

Second one from Night Song, when Chase and Cara Lee are in the tub together and her old friend walks in the room.
Must say it is hard to pick out any one scene when I love the whole book!

times. Oh, that was hot. I'm grinning like an idiot at work thinking about. Oh,
I wish I had the book with me so I could quote it.

Speaking no underwear. Same thing happened to poor Olivia. Neil took hers right
before the big shootout and there she was in the aftermath trying to act like
the mayor and sudddenly remembers. Maybe that's why I keep forgetting mine. My

what the heck I'm talking about, all I can say is don't ask. I'm sure someone

Me too! Thinking about it just now though - I've done a lot of
"grays." Grayson Grove and Nate and nem, of course. Then wasn't the hero in
Getting Merry's Homecoming some kind of Grey or Grayson. Maybe i'm wrong. I'll
have to look that up. If I'm if I'm right, you all may have to put me in some
kind of gray rehab program. B

cream in yet another cup of coffee and had not cream in my hand but a bottle of
liquid yogurt! Fortunately I realized this just as I was beginning to pour.
Needed some rest. Made myself cook yesterday. Been surviving on leftover pizza
and oatmeal since Sunday. So yesterday it was roast chicken, collards, mac and
cheese and rolls. Fell alseep at 730. So got a good sleep and am ready to rock
and roll. This morning the bunny mama and the grandbunny stopped by. Not sure
who has taken over the bunnymama's body but this version has gotten a job, got
her own place and is talking and acting like a grown up!!! The job's only
partime but she's determined to make a good life for her and the baby and I am
soo proud of this once very
> clueless child!
> Now, my question of the day. What is your favorite line or scene from a BJ
book. I thought about this during the chat on Tues. I have two. First that I
can think of is from DS when Reese comes to see JT after the bombing and she's
in the hospital and the first thing out of her mouth is: Why aren't you out
chasing the bastard who did this?" Reese knew she was going to be okay. Second
on my hit parade. EOM when Sarita tries to convince Myk to take her to Sears for
the shopping extravaganza. Okay, those are mine. What're yours? Shadow Dancers,
you all can play too. Ok. I'll check back later. Love y'all! B

Who is Galen? Which book do I meet him in? I'm new at this and for the past week I've been on a constant Bev Jenk read-a-thon. Getting to know her works and her characters has been a lot of fun, so far I've met Nathaniel and Viveca Grayson, Eli and Jewell Grayson, Neil and Olivia July, Marshal Dixon and Katherine Wildhorse, Jackson and Grace Blake, Dominic and Clare LaVeq. Can't wait to meet the others.

One of my favorite scenes are in Edge of Dawn when Saint meets Uncle Willy and Arnold.. Or better yet when Narice decides to try to get help from the police and Saint shows her those beautiful eyes and tells them she is his wife and she is crazy! lol (love that green eyed man. Sigh!)
Second one is from Something like Love, after need was shot and the storm was coming and they were in the cellar together alone. Oh the possibilties! Ms. Bev
I could go on of course but another was in Wild Sweet Love when Madison and Theresa were out in the gazebo and it wasn't until the next morning until she remembered that she didn't have on underwear (That's what I call a man if he can make you forget that!)

My favorite scenes would be:
First,
Indigo - Galen using the secret passage to come into Hester's room and watch her sleep and then leave a red rose.
Vivid - Definitely Viveca shooting a hole in Nate's hat and knocking it to the ground. Nate grabbing her and throwing her in the office. Priceless.

First that I can think of is from DS when Reese comes to see JT after the bombing and she's in the hospital and the first thing out of her mouth is: Why aren't you out chasing the bastard who did this?" Reese knew she was going to be okay. Second on my hit parade. EOM when Sarita tries to convince Myk to take her to Sears for the shopping extravaganza. Okay, those are mine. What're yours? Shadow Dancers, you all can play too. Ok. I'll check back later. Love y'all! B

Now y'all know I'm spozed to be working and not here playing, so I'm going to head over and get busy. Name of the new historical - MIDNIGHT. Hero - Nicholas Grey. Heorine - Faith Kingston. Stand alone story - no relation to any other characters - far as I know, but then I said the same thing about the Anthony men in DS and look how that turned out. So, we'll see. Be back later. Have fun with your favorite scenes. B

O forgot one, this is from Jewell with Mr. Moonlight (Eli Grayson) and Jewell, you guessed it when they made love under the moonlight. Dang, I wanted to be Jewell at that moment!!!!

Ms. Bev, thank you for the welcome!!! I'm enjoying myself already.

I have two favorite moments so far:

1) From Something Like Love, the scene where Neil had Olivia as his dessert on the kitchen table. I must say it took me moment to cool down from that one!

2) From Always and Forever, the scene where Grace hit Jackson upside his head with purse full of rocks.

Afternoon eerybody. First let me say hey to the new folks. A special hey to Jamie who has jumped right into the fray. Welcome to Bevland. I'e been so beat down by this deadline for the new historical. So tired yesterday went to put cream in yet another cup of coffee and had not cream in my hand but a bottle of liquid yogurt! Fortunately I realized this just as I was beginning to pour. Needed some rest. Made myself cook yesterday. Been surviving on leftover pizza and oatmeal since Sunday. So yesterday it was roast chicken, collards, mac and cheese and rolls. Fell alseep at 730. So got a good sleep and am ready to rock and roll. This morning the bunny mama and the grandbunny stopped by. Not sure who has taken over the bunnymama's body but this version has gotten a job, got her own place and is talking and acting like a grown up!!! The job's only partime but she's determined to make a good life for her and the baby and I am soo proud of this once very clueless child! She's been talking to the boy everyday she says but is not planning on letting him back in her life - which is a good thing. He's still living with the stripper, and supposedly hating it but has no where else to go. Sigh. We keep him in prayer, but I'm truly glad bunnymama is getting it together and me getting to hang out with the grandbunny is just the icing on the cake. So, keep the prayers coming.
