All best wishes
Dear All,
Paul, David and I were sent this email about an art/photography competition for young people throughout the borough – the winners will be exhibited at the Watersports Centre when it reopens after the refurbishment. I’m sure many young people in our area will be interested – I wondered if you would forward it round your networks so that more people get to hear about it ahead of the summer.
Many thanks,
Best regards,
Lisa

Hello Southwark Ward Councillors,
Please excuse this general email. As Ward Councillors in Southwark we believe that you might be interested in this news.
The Surrey Docks Watersports Centre art competition is aimed at children from 5 years up to students at 25 years that live or work in Southwark, or those that travel from other London boroughs to use the Centre. In some cases the £50 prize will be an incentive to enter, however for some students to have their work on display at the centre could create an opportunity which might influence their career path and ultimately the rest of their lives.
Please find attached the poster and entry form (both of which are at the link below as well). There are also A5 flyers available with the poster on one side and the entry form on the other, and if you would like some sent to you for an event then please send me your postal address and I will send them to you straight away.
We have a proactive marketing campaign working with summer play schools and events in Southwark throughout July and August, however anything that you and your team can do to encourage students to take part in the competition would be most appreciated.
