If you were ever assigned to the 547th Engineer Battalion (Combat)then we want you as a member. That also includes former wives, former husbands, widows and widowers. There is also a 547th Engineer Battalion Association for you to join. The Association also publishes a newsletter named the Bridge Builder. Notice here the background of the Battalion Crest is white Enamel. This was the Crest that was worn from 1962 thru 1965. It was later determined that the correct Battalion Crest had a silver background
