For a while that union in Thailand were not be able to move their demands due to the economic pressure and that the management's busting tactics, despite that the country system is not favour workers, but investors. The Centaco workers union-- one of the strongest union in the food industry -- is now in the lock out period and that management has play hard on the workers.

Centaco workers’ demands result in lock-out
Over 400 Centaco workers have been demonstrating in front of their factory since June 16 th , 2005 due to a lock-out. While they were demonstrating in front of the factory building, a woman worker was injured by a rock thrown from the fourth floor, which hit her on the head. The injured woman was taken to the hospital immediately and was given two stitches.
