I'm pretty sure that the stripers take care of any holdovers. Was out last week and fared well with a loop wing emerger size 20 and a size 14 bh pheasant...

I would say that even if it is level line all the way through it is still usable. I would also venture to say that at 20ft you aren't loading your rod...
