Discussions in this group are intended to assist the Texas Bamboo Society collect information on which bamboo species are, and are not, suited for growing in Texas and surrounding areas with similar conditions, including plants that are grown outside, inside, in the ground or in pots. Please share information and experiences on growth conditions (what is and is not best for the plants) in various parts of the state. This information will be used to compile and update a list of bamboos recommended for growing in Texas.
