Description

The Rosette Nebula (NGC 2337-39) in the constellation Monoceros. This large nebula has low surface brightness, but due to it's large size can be seen under reasonably dark skys with binocuars. This image was captured from Chiefland Astronomy Village on November 24, 2003.
