Yes, it's still early to think about 2008.

But with a candidate as inspiring and intelligent as Sen. Barack Obama, it's exciting to think about the possibility of taking back the White House for the Democrats.

We won't know until after the November election whether or not Sen. Obama is running for president. But on Meet the Press this past Sunday, he indicated that he was considering a run. If he decides to run, then we need to be ready.

If you'd like to meet Sen. Obama, then swing by the Capitol on Saturday morning for the Texas Book Festival. Get there early because you can only get in if you have a wristband.
