We welcome people and terriers to the play days who want to have fun with their earthdogs. Events include Racing, Go-to-Ground (Earthdog), Agility, Conformation, Grooming & Pot Luck BBQ.

Volunteers make the world go around!

Novice through Advanced and all earthworking breeds can practice in an informal, fun environment, get lots of chances to run your dogs, meet other earthdog owners and pot luck picnic and "talk dirt". All earthworking breeds are welcome. Closed-end muzzles are required for racing. Racing muzzles and leashes will be on sale at the event.

Please pass the word about this group to your earthdog/dachshund/terrier friends or post a flier at your pet/feed store or vets office. See the Files section on the yahoo group website for downloadable flyers.

1) Contact us to find a date
2) Find a suitable location (park or fairgrounds?)
3) Promote the event in your area
4) Recruit 5 DEDICATED volunteers, one or two to work in each activity
and we will bring our "road show" to you and help to teach you how to put on a play day.
