Hello!, Welcome to this group.
This group is maintained by Telugu Cultural Association shortly known as TelCA
Members of this group are students doing their B.Tech or M.Tech or PhD and Faculty in IIT Bombay whose native place is in Andhra Pradesh.
This group was formed long back to create a platform for all people coming from andhra to exchange their views, celebrate festivals and have a common environment.
Main thoughts before forming this group was to:

• Celebrate various festivals like Sankranthi, Deepavali, Dasara etc.,
• Organizine Picnics
• Screen telugu movies
• Conduct sports at hostel level
• Screen Dramas
• Run a monthly magazine
• Encourage cultural participation of students who have enthu.

These activities will be organized by the members of the group only. Each hostel has a representative he/she will look after the things concerning the hostel. For any further communication they can contact respective hostel representative. Apart from these activities, TelCA also serves as a platform to bring out hidden talents of Telugu friends. We organise many cultural programmes like singing, dance competitions, dramas, instrument playing, Antakshari, group dance etc.,
Lastly, EVERY THOUGHT TO BE IMPLEMENTED NEEDS PLANNING AND ORGANIZING
We need support, enthusiasm, and active participation of all the members in the group.
Members who are specifically intrested to involve in planning, organizing and implementation of the various events can register themselves into another group telcacoreteam@yahoogroups.com and drop in your ideas.
