I wanted ot build teh high gain All Band Receiver but cannot find a 2N2210a nor any specs on it, Anyone have suggestions as to a substitute?...

It's a 2N2219A and that is just an ordinary NPN in a TO-5 package capable of a little power dissipation. Just about any high gain power transistor will work...

That's a very low power op-amp that can run on a low voltage. What is your available power and must the circuit be micropower (batteries or power supply)?...

If you can use 9 volts, just about any op-amp should work, especially those that are billed as "single supply" types. An ordinary LM358 should work but that is...

A 741 is specified down to 10 volts but it may work with only 9 volts just fine. Running on 9 volts will lower the sensitivity since there will be more voltage...

How about an LM324? 4 amps in the package are 3 too many, but the input bias currents and allowable supply voltage range are good. Input and output both can...
