Built by Hinterhoeller, Designed by George Cuthbertson and George Cassian as the Redwing 35. Constructed at Niagara-on-the Lake Facility.
Orignally of Upstate New York, She was purchased by Guy Ireland in 1976 and brought to Detroit. In 1980 She was sold to Howard Keys, Tom Youngblood, and Barry Woodrow. Sold in 2002 to Howard's Daughter, Elisa Stroh, and partners Jim Gillis and Charlie Partlan. In 2006, Shamrock completed her 30th consecutive Mackinac Race. Shamrock is the fourth Shamrock in a series of boats, the first being L-boat #39, then C&C Redwing 30, followed by a C&C 27, and now the 35.
