Tapsites are students/alumni of The Army Public School, and this is the definitive virtual community of, for and by Tapsites, spanning across 25 odd batches, and 5 continents.
TAPS/APS-DK/The Army Public School was founded in 1953, and counts itself amongst New Delhi's premier schools. It is located in the heart of the Indian national capital, on the scenic Ridge Road, just off Dhaula Kuan.
The group's agenda is simple and clear, and includes:
- Reuniting old friends, foes and strangers, and in turn building the largest global network of Tapsites and nurturing contacts, even as we break across barriers posed by location, age, or batches.
- Sharing information which might be helpful, or useful to fellow Tapsites.
- Providing a forum where one can reminisce, and share stories from the good old days of yore.
- Keeping you informed about events, happenings, gossip, whereabouts, and general news about your alma mater, schoolmates and teachers.
- Proactively organizing reunions, get-togethers, and other school-related activities.
- Being trailblazers, and setting an unattainable mark for cheap imitations of this e-group.
In memoriam: Vidur Girdhar [XI B, Batch of '99 Tapsite] who expired in 1997.
