Tanghalang Augustus Thomas is the newly organized theater company of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University MID-LA UNION Campus. In line with its vision of developing well-trained Filipino actors, singers and dancers, the company will be having a regular training program for members through its circle of talents. It also encourages Filipino playwrights, amateur or professional to create new works even as it produces adaptations and translations of timeless classics and relevant contemporary materials.

Tanghalang Augustus Thomas is a very exacting and demanding art form and requires performers with exceptional stamina, versatility and skill. As the company is predominantly practice-based, your ability to meet this demands will be heavily considered when we choose prospective talents.

As it strides into the next millennium, the Tanghalang Augustus Thomas looks forward to a new dawn of creativity and artistic excellence, reaffirming its commitment to the growth and development of Filipino arts and culture.
