Hi Dinesh, It is every important to prepare in a structured fashion. First learn and ensure that you have all concepts in place and then take the Mock TANCETs. You will be given class exercises sheet in class. Take one topic and resolve all the questions you did in class. This is because, in class when the teacher explains, it might seem like you understand but later you might find it difficult. Once you solve the sheet, do the questions in the book. By the time you do this for every chapter, you will become very good at doing the topic. Prepare thus for all five sections of the TANCET MBA paper. Then start taking your Mock TANCETs to get your time management in place. Who is Swetha?  TANCET 2005 state topper, Graduated from Anna University in 2007 and now minding her own Business... Quite literally cause that's what I do... I help with my Dad's business... Why this mail? Because TANCET was a changing point in my career... And I feel I owe it back.... I learnt a lot during my TANCET prep experience.. .. I learnt quite some in Anna University as well... Why was my TANCET experience so life changing? I did my B.Com from GNC. And if there are any guys in GNC, you know how much fun the college is. Never attended college. Spent our time at the movies and Coffee Day or the famous GNC cricket ground... Had lots of fun and learnt nothing... I had another Advantage - I got admission in Sports Quota so no pressure for attendance. I only needed 20%. So I never attended college properly. But in my final year... I met with an injury and my sports came to an end. I had no career... I had always believed that I will get some job based on my sports and need not worry. Now I did not have it. I could learn my father's business but I realised I had learnt nothing in college so I was not equipped to do that. I had no options but to learn. And so I decided on my MBA. How did I prepare? Firstly, I wish to thank the Ascent Education team. They provided fantastic inputs and motivated me. I studied for 1.5 to 2 hours everyday with the material, class notes. I did not stop my fun. I still went in the afternoon to movies and coffee day but I also studied for 2 hours each day. That's all that is needed. But in those two hours you need very good concentration and determination. I prepared for a total of 3 months. I wrote the practice tests and discussed my performance with the faculty members. Now, this is very important. You need to write each practice TANCET paper for two hours and then analyse it for another two hours. No analysis, then no use. Do not try to get a previous year paper now with answers.. It will not help. Prepare well. Lay the foundation first. Learn your concepts first and then take Mock TANCETs as tests and NOT with answers. Why am I telling all this now? Because am realising that a lot of you are as desperate as I was. I had no options. And now because of the job situation you all also do not have an option. The best thing to do now is to study. To equip yourself better. Because you will pass out during the boom period which is very good.. What should you do now? Well, prepare well. Do not take your career easily. Put in a lot of hard work and do well. Take classroom coaching, like I did. You can consult me for help. How to reach me?
