We are looking for a talented PHP Programmer with a minimum of 3 years experience. Individual must possess excellent PHP programming, Web services, Webpage design skills. Individual must have knowledge of PostgreSQL database development and maintenance. Experience should include working knowledge of the following languages and technologies: PHP, PostgreSQL, Shell script, Web Development, Apache, Adobe Acrobat, Javascript, CSS, User interface designs, Data extractions, reporting, and Linux.
Individual must have experience working in the UNIX/Linux environment. Individual must be self-starter, good communicator, and able to work within a small team. Individual must possess strong analytical and communication skills.
PDFlib experience and working with Xerox printers are a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Work with project manager to implement new features and enhancements that will impact written applications
- Design code modules that scale well under heavy load
- Update webpage text, graphics, and skin
- Work on helpdesk tickets to resolve client web application issues
- Provide web application enhancements
- Self-motivated problem solver
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

2009 Coach's Nights
Texas A&M head football coach Mike Sherman is planning a great season for the Aggies and he wants to tell you all about it. Make plans to join Sherman, The Association of Former Students and the 12th Man Foundation at a local A&M Club's Coach's Night. Each Coach's Night includes not only Coach Sherman, but great dinners, silent auctions and lots of Aggie camaraderie. All proceeds support the Clubs' scholarship funds.

Southwest Classic Set For Oct. 3rd
The Texas A&M and University of Arkansas football teams will meet in the inaugural Southwest Classic Oct. 3 at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. The Association of Former Students and 12th Man Foundation invite you to join them for pregame fun. The All Aggie Hullabaloo, Concert and Yell Practice--an event for all Aggies with an outdoor concert and Yell Practice to follow for all Aggies and all Classes--is set for Oct. 2. On Saturday, join us for a Corps march-in near the Cowboys Stadium and tailgating with other Aggies.
