2009 Distinguished Alumni

Texas A&M University and The Association of Former Students are proud to announce the recipients of the 2009 Distinguished Alumnus Award: Edward C. "Pete" Aldridge, Jr., '60 of Arlington, Va.; Frank C. Litterst, Jr., '43 of College Station; Pablo D. Marvin '66 of College Station; and Dr. Charles R. Munnerlyn '62 of San Jose, Calif., along with two posthumous recipients: Jesse W. Easterwood, Class of 1909; and Frederick W. Heldenfels, Jr. '33. The Distinguished Alumnus Award is the highest honor bestowed upon a former student of Texas A&M University. The award recognizes outstanding Aggies who have made significant contributions within their professions, communities and significant contributions to Texas A&M.

2009 Coach's Nights

Texas A&M head football coach Mike Sherman is planning a great season for the Aggies and he wants to tell you all about it. Make plans to join Sherman, The Association of Former Students and the 12th Man Foundation at a local A&M Club's Coach's Night. Each Coach's Night includes not only Coach Sherman, but great dinners, silent auctions and lots of Aggie camaraderie. All proceeds support the Clubs' scholarship funds.

Southwest Classic Set For Oct. 3rd

The Texas A&M and University of Arkansas football teams will meet in the inaugural Southwest Classic Oct. 3 at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. The Association of Former Students and 12th Man Foundation invite you to join them for pregame fun. The All Aggie Hullabaloo, Concert and Yell Practice--an event for all Aggies with an outdoor concert and Yell Practice to follow for all Aggies and all Classes--is set for Oct. 2. On Saturday, join us for a Corps march-in near the Cowboys Stadium and tailgating with other Aggies.
