Description
Our experiment is over: We're closing TalkingDC.
We thought that Washington, DC could use an email list where people would talk about what's happening around town, but we thought wrong. TalkingDC's been pretty quiet since it began.
One reason for this is that there are a lot of other terrific places to talk about DC-wide events, activities, politics and more. Two of our favorite places are:
* State of Columbia
* DCist
On DCist and State of Columbia you can find out what's happening in local politics or the arts; and you can comment on those things, too. DCist and StateofColumbia are terrific -- we spend a lot of time there, ourselves.
Meanwhile, we're continuing to make our corner of cyberspace, the Cleveland Park Listserv, http://www.cleveland-park.com, (now 5,200+ members strong) better and better, and we hope that you'll visit us there.
