Description

This is a forum to discuss the work of writer Susan M. Watkins, to share news about her upcoming books, and a place where you can communicate with Ms. Watkins as well.

For twenty years Susan M. Watkins was a newspaper reporter, feature writer, and columnist for local print and radio media such as the Martha’s Vineyard Gazette, the Elmira Star Gazette, the Dundee Observer, and WFLR–Finger Lakes Radio Network. She wrote a weekly column, "Garden Madness," for the Dundee Observer which had a loyal readership— a compilation of those columns was later published as the book "Garden Madness: The Unpruned Truth About a Blooming Passion", published by Fulcrum Publishing. Watkins is also the author of nonfiction and humor, short stories of literary fiction, dark fantasy, and horror. She was born in Elmira, New York, and is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Journalism. She currently lives in the Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York.

Watkins is the author of the books Speaking of Jane Roberts, Conversations with Seth, Garden Madness, Dreaming Myself, Dreaming a Town, and the just released What a Coincidence!.

LATEST NEWS: The new 25th Anniversary edition of Conversations with Seth was published in 2005 (Book 1); Book 2 came out in late April 2006. Susan's newest book is WHAT A COINCIDENCE!, which was released in August 2005. Both books are from Moment Point Press. What A Coincidence! and Conversations With Seth are available from your local or online bookseller of choice. For our European friends, there is also a German translation of Speaking of Jane Roberts that came out recently, entitled Apropos Jane Roberts, and available from the Swiss publishing house, Seth-Verlag.
