Surreywriters is a 'virtual' meeting place for local writers in Surrey, British Columbia, and beyond.
Members can send and receive messages about upcoming classes, readings, and writing events. They can use this site to find writers working in their genres, and to help find or form writing groups. This might also be a good place to discuss craft issues.
Members are encouraged to announce publication successes, exchange and request marketing information, and to learn about and contribute to the efforts of local writers.
The group is moderated by Lois Peterson, author of Meeting Miss 405 (Orca, 2008), and creative writing instructor and owner of the editing and consulting company LPwordsolutions(www.lpwordsolutions.com / www.loispeterson.net).
Surreywriters listserv is not intended as a place to post work for critiquing, or to send spam or distribute information on anything that does not relate in one way or another to writing.
