This list started out as a contact list for home educators living in Surrey.


HOWEVER, ITS FOCUS HAS NOW CHANGED.


It is now intended to cater for home educators living in Surrey who:

- are known to the the local authority and are interested in working with them in the development of their procedures and their official policy on home education;
- are unknown to the local authority and are interested in participating anonymously in the consultation process with regard to the above;
- do not wish to participate but would like to stay informed and ask questions of those who are involved;
- any variation on the above.


As this group is now for information-sharing regarding the LA rather than for group support and contact, members can remain anonymous/use pseudonyms if they wish and are advised to be careful about disclosing personal information, since we cannot guarantee that everyone joining is a genuine Surrey home educator. No introductory post is necessary when joining the list.
