Hi everyone! My name is Teresa. I joined this group to find out how
I can offer more support to the FANTASTIC soldiers & their family's
who work so hard & definitely sacrifice sooo much for this great
country of ours & it's diverse people, & especially for our way of
life - our precious freedom. I served in the Army about 23 years
ago. It was not during war time but I did do a lot of contemplating
what it might actually be like if I were ever to be called to serve
in that way - part of the reason for my utmost respect &
indescribable gratitude for each & every one of our Heroes. I have
grown children & grandchildren who are my life & can only imagine the
kind of concern, not to mention actual loss of such a beloved one.
Our soldiers & family's struggle with these things every day. The
Holidays are surely a much greater challenge.

I hope to offer more than my undying love & complete admiration for
America's bravest & finest. I'm looking for info on orgs. in my
community where I can lend a hand, an ear, a shoulder, my time & my
love as just a small token of my appreciation for the safety we have
here because of these honorable men & women who should be so proud of
the immense tasks they perform.
