ride your welcome to post it, there should be plenty
of room left since were pretty darn new.

I can do for our
members.
Your bike I posted on the front page didn't
turn out the right size, so I let people know they can

Another motorcycle enthusiast from Atlanta, Ga
has just become our newest member. He's the proud
owner of a (I hope I'm right) Super X vin#601, as he
puts it "s/n 601" and a "87" FLHT-C.
Welcome and
thanks for joining.
Happy:))Riding!
The recording of the program on CNBC about Super
X was a good idea your friend thought of. I wish I
would have been thinking about recording it at the
time. It would be cool to have a recording of history
in the making to add to your collection of tapes.
Congratulations to our newest members on joining
the club.
PanHead Kicker
birdytool
greg55

some photos of your favorite ride, make or
model.
Hey Greg; if you have some photos of your hobbies,
like old Buicks, vintage airplanes and motorcycles, we
would surely much appreciate your input. It would be
interesting to see photos of a different variety of
ride.
One of our primary objectives, is to promote the new
Super X by attracting a variety of visitors with
different taste and preferences.
Happy:))Riding, Rolling
and Flying!
No those are not the original rims, I don't know about the double bead thing, if
I you have time try the Yahoo sportster owners club. Lots of well informed
people there, Plenty helpful.
Yeah, Don, I hear ya about the territory (rain,
that is). The Blue Ridge and Skyline are just east of
I-81 in Virginia. We started the trip on Skyline at
Front Royal and went south until we hit Lynchburg. Then
went 460 east until we made it home. I'm located in
Chesapeake. Been to the beaches in the local area, its ok but
too many people. I think our next trip will be
towards the Outer Banks in NC.
I try to keep the
Vulcan looking good, thanks!! I bought it up in Maine in
94 and it has done me good so far. I've been looking
at some Heritage Softails and hope to buy one before
the summer is out. Glad to see that you have a Super
X; the closest I came to owning one is from the
investors package I have and some stock. Very nice looking
bike that you have !!!! I'll check out that link you
sent, hopefully I'll be able to make the SC event.

talk to ya later...Ski
No I didn't do the paint a freind of mine does
that.

I wouldn't change you bike a bit, out
side of maybe some braided lines and cables, that
might be a nice highlight. But to start changing a
first model year bike, I don't think I would.

If
you want to do that try and find someones project
that fell short of cash pick it up and start from
there, just my thoughts.

Thanks for the
compliment. I wish I had a picture of what I started with
never thought to take one.
Sorry to hear about all the rain, but I quess
that goes with the territory. Glad you made it to a
safe spot on time.
I'm from the Ohio valley and
don't travel much out that way. I've been driving my
rig out west for the past 3 years. Is The Blue ridge
Pkwy close to I-81 or W.V. I-79?
Nice Vulcan 750,
looks like your set up for the long haul.
There's a
three day Easy Rider event going on Sept. 4, 5 & 6 at
Chillicothe, OH. and Sept. 17, 18 & 19 at Greenville, S.C.
Here's a link for more info
http://www.easyriders.com/events/rnb
The Chillicothe event is
the one I'll be at
since it's close by.
Thanks for being here...C/ya!
I checked out your photos and that is one nice
"77" XLH. Great condition and super cool highly
detailed paint job. Did you do the paint job
yourself?
I wanted to buy a Harley before I purchased my
Super X, and still do, but my financial situation will
have that thought on hold for a long time.
I was
thinking if there may be a way to add a set of rear cromed
springs like you have, on a Super X just for looks,
without changing much of the original structure.
Thanks for joining, I hope there's alot of space for
photos, cause I'd hate to delete any of them.
If I
ever need to delete photos for space I'll get a hold
of ya and see which ones you'd rather keep.
Happy:))Riding!
I posted some pictures of my project in the photo
section, not a SuperX, a 77 XLH.

I have yet to ride
a SuperX, Delano is too far and I hardly ever go to
Duluth (nearest dealer).

I'll leave my opinions
on the stock board and stick to bike stuff here, I
am a long holder since IPO.

By the way Don
feel free to delete the pictures when space becomes a
problem.

Anyone who is interested in getting rid of the struts on
the rear fender (a personal peeve of mine) its not
that difficult. I guess it would make more sense to
keep the Super X OEM though.
Hey all !!!

I put a pic of my ride on the
foto board. Don't mind the spots, the film got wet
after we hit a rainstorm. I would have put the pic of
my wife and the bike on instead but that pic had too
many spots on it. We took a 3 day trip up Skyline
Drive and the Blue Ridge Pkwy about 3 weeks ago.
Excellent ride and the weather was beautiful (except for
the 3 thunderstorms we hit). Laid over the 2nd night
in Lynchburg VA with a thunderstorm right on our
tail. Just made it to the hotel when it all came down.
Talk about timing!!

Last I looked at E-H, they
were up to 3 9/16 (this afternoon). Still learning
about investments. E-H is my first crack at investing
and learned a hell of alot. Bought into E-H back in
Oct98 when it was around 7 and Harley was at 28.

Talk to ya later...Ski
Thanks all for joining this club. I hope it can
be a great asset to all motorcyclist,
Excelsior-Henderson, the owners and the future owners of the Super X.
I just received news that I had been booted out of
the Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycle Club by
Surfingbrat, for stating my feelings and opinions on the BIGX
stock board about my personal investments which should
be of no concern to him. All my post on surfingbrats
board was positive for Excelsior-Henderson and the
Super X, and were in no way harmful to any of the
members on surfingbrats board.
I'm convinced that
surfingbrat is worried of a little competition in the
advertising of E-H for reasons that no one could reasonably
understand.
Apparently the only reasons for his concerns
of E-H is his stock holdings, because it's obvious
he doesn't own a Super X.
On this board you are
welcome to freely state your opinions as long as we can
be reasonably logical and moral about it. A little
logical and constructive criticism may be useful in
pointing out flaws in some of the motorcycle products and
organizations related to motorcyclist.
Happy:))Riding!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. This is more
information useful information than most posts on the
financial message board.

I visited my local EH
dealer on Sunday to view a SuperX in person again. I
must say it is manufactured quite well. Good luck with
your bike and please continue to add truer perspective
to information concerning this company.
Thought I'd join this board as well as the other
information board. I've been a member of the other one for a
couple of months and really enjoy it. I own number 710 -
black with only the sissy bar/backrest and luggage rack
for accessories. Still plan on adding the slash cuts
for weekends as well as the highway bar. Bought mine
from Delano. I picked it up on May 29. I've got 3300
miles on it and have had NO problems with it - not even
a minor one. It's been in once for it's 500 mile
checkup and is going in this week for it's 2500 mile
checkup. I drove it to Sturgis and back and it was
flawless regardless of speed or length of time between
stops. I had the new tune loaded in the parking lot in
Belle Plaine before the trip. I grew up in Belle Plaine
so I have another reason to want to see this company
succeed. And, after meeting many of the road crew over the
past few weeks, I'm sure it will.
Wasn't that line used in the movie, When whoever
