Summit View Homeschoolers provides encouragement and support to homeschool families residing in the Phoenix "East Valley" area. Members live in: Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Apache Junction, Ahwatukee, and Queen Creek.

As an inclusive secular group, we value and respect the diverse educational philosophies, religious beliefs, and political views of our members.

The ages of the children in our group range from toddlers to high school. However, the majority of the children are elementary school-aged.

Activities we offer include: park days, field trips, family barbeques, and moms' nights out. In addition, we also sponsor several homeschool enrichment clubs and co-op group classes which allow members to get together on a regular basis:

• Preschoolers Group
• Tween Group
• Book Club
• PE Group
• Teen Club
• Camping Club

Membership in Summit View is restricted to families living in the East Valley, who are currently homeschooling at least one child (age 4 or older). All members are expected to contribute to the cooperative by joining a planning committee, OR sponsoring a field trip OR event/activity per year, OR teaching a class, OR leading one of our sub-groups.
