The Zone 1 & 2 of the World Subud Association have their Council Meeting in Palankaraya, Kalimantan, Indonesia from June 18 to 24, 2000 AD.

Subud is an acronym of three Sanskrit words: SUSILA, BUDHI and DHARMA

Subud is a way of spiritual practice, found to be appropriate and harmonizing with the needs and requirements of life today. It is significant that this way of spiritual practice was received by Divine Grace by a Javanese Noble man in the last decades of the last Millennium.
The proposed Zone Meeting in Palankaraya in 2000 AD and the proposed World Subud Congress in 2001, also in Palankaraya could signify the birth of an important aspect of Humankind.

Bapak Muhammad Subuh Sumohadiwidjojo is the Javanese Noble Man who received the Divine Grace called as SUBUD. He passed away in 1987.
