Description

For people interested in the ancestors and descendants of the mysterious Dr Robert John Stuart ROBERTSON. Dr Robertson was born somewhere between 1803-1815 whereabouts unknown but variously claimed to be Scotland, Belgium, and Australia. He died 3 July 1899 at George Street Asylum, Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia.

The photograph is that of the doctor's son Robert James STUART-ROBERTSON, MLA (1866-1933), who briefly held position as NSW Minister For Health in 1927. Robert was also author of a book that appears to be a cryptic account of his father's life.
