Stop Wal-Mart from abusing working people and communities!

This group consists of Colorado community neighborhoods, small businesses, enlightened city council members, individuals and organizations of working people uniting to oppose the introduction of new, non-unionized Super Wal-Mart stores that dominate communities, destroy businesses, and signal the end of good jobs in our communities. We're not trying to close down existing Wal-Mart stores, although many of us would like to see them treating their workers better. End the unpaid overtime, gender discrimination, forcing employees to work while ill, using tax dollars to subsidize employee health care!

This is a discussion list for sharing strategies, celebrating victories and organizing statewide opposition.

Concerning the introduction of new Wal-Mart stores, we're simply trying to allow our local communities to have a choice.
