The mission of the Stonecrest Neighborhood Association in Columbia, Missouri is to make our neighborhood a more enjoyable place to live. We share information, hold special events, and coordinate activities and programs to make our neighborhood welcoming, fun, safe, and beautiful.
Stonecrest Neighborhood Association Goals:
1) Information-Sharing
Activities: Attend relevant city meetings, collect information and disseminate through neighborhood listserve, Association meetings, web-site and other communication channels.
2) Welcoming and socializing
Activities: Share welcome packs with new residents, sponsor and organize neighborhood block parties, picnics, garage sale, etc.
3) Safety
Activities: Coordinate and monitor a Neighborhood Watch Program, etc.
4) Beautification
Activities: Coordinate Adopt-A-Spot program, explore development of a neighborhood park, attend to signs and entrances, etc.
