I know, I've been trying to get them to put the St.
Louis Santarchy Yahoo Group on the Santarchy.com site
for more than a year now, but they don't seem to be
responding to that entry field. I've filled it out
three times, and not only have they NOT put St Louis
on the site, they've never even got back to me.

Is there a link at www.santarchy.com for us (as mentioned in the article)? I
didn't see one. Heck, I didn't even see St. Louis on there. Maybe we can
change that this year.

Check it out. Santarchy made it into the River Front
times, the St. Louis' weekly newpaper. Some of the
facts of the article are wrong, but hey, media is
media.

THREE MORE DAYS TLL THEY LET THE SANTAS OUT!!!

It's so close I can almost hear the jingle bells.
Finish up your costume and get your gifts ready.
Saturday, the Santas march.

S A N T A R C H Y S t L
Sat. Dec 6th 2003

HO HO uH-Oh!
You better watch out, you better not cry, you better
not pout, I'm telling you why: Santa Claus is coming
to town!

It's time for St. Louis' own version of the
time-honored tradition of Santarchy (see
www.santarchy.com). "What is Santarchy?" you ask?
Santarchy is an experiment in community building
through creative expression and diversity. It’s also
a super fun party.

Saturday December 6th, everyone with the affinity for
the FrEaKy and the curiosity of the CrAzY are invited
to get dressed up as their own inner-Santa and come
join us for a day of celebration of and/or
protestation to the holiday season.

Join us for an all day march around the St. Louis area
spreading holiday cheer and weirdness. Don’ forget to
bring presents to give away: lump’s of coal,
candy-canes, mutant toys, whatever your personal
inner-Santa wants to give away is appropriate.

Using the city Metro system the entire way, Santarchy
will traverse U-City, the CWE, Union Station, Soulard,
and finish on Washington Ave. The schedule will be
firmly adhered to so Santas will be able to find and
join us all along the route.

So get your inner-Santa on and join us for StL
Santarchy 2003.

Santa's coming to The Loop this Saturday, and he'll be
posing for
pictures with good girls and boys in the Tivoli's
foyer from noon to 2 p.m.
Pictures are free with a non-perishable food donation
to Operation Food
Search. Without a food donation, expect to donate $1
to the food
pantry. Down the street, Frosty and his helpers will
be in the window at
Blueberry Hill, and there's a photo opportunity there
too. And this is the
first year for the Loop Holiday Fashion Show.
Celebrate With the Stars
this year in the Loop! For more on any of this, check

ONLY 11 MORE DAYS 'TILL THE LET THE SANTAS OUT!

I hope everyone out there is getting ready.
And remember, you don't have to buy a Santa
suit. Dress up as a reindeer or as holiday
decorations. If you're not into Xmas, bring
some Judaism into the mix. Someone mentioned
Quanza last night, we CAN'T leave out Quanza.

Anything goes... creative self-expression,
holiday season, and general wackiness.

Let's see what you've got!

Alright all you imposters!
the real santa has something for
all you naughty boys and grrls...
a sheet of quaint carols for your
perusal and a few jokes to add
to the in-santa-ty...

************Christmas Carols**************

Twelve Days of Christmas
Lyrics by Peter Doty

On the first day home for Christmas my mother said to me:
1. You haven't got a decent thing to wear.
2. You've put on some weight.
3. You should get a job.
4. Visit your Aunt Rosie.
5. Still no girlfriend?
6. What's that in your suitcase?
7. You smoke marijuana.
8. Ester has two children.
9. Are you still on food stamps?
10. Herbie's getting married.
11. Your life is a disaster.
12. Both of us still love you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chipmunks Roasting on an Open Fire

Chipmunks roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost ripping up your nose.
Yuletide carolers being thrown in the fire,
And folks dressed up like buffaloes.
Everybody knows a turkey slaughtered in the snow,
Helps to make the season right.
Tiny tots with their eyes all gouged out,
Will find it hard to see tonight.
They know that Santa's on his way,
He's loaded lots of guns and bullets on his sleigh.
And every mother's child is sure to spy,
To see if reindeer really scream when they die.
And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety two.
Although it's been said many times, many ways,
Merry Christmas,
Merry Christmas,
Merry Christmas,
Fuck you!
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deck My Balls

Deck my balls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la.
Tap the keg, inflate the dolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la.

Don we now our rubber panties,
Fa la la la la, la la la.
We're a bunch of twisted Santies,
Fa la la la la, la la la.

Naughty girls are such a treasure,
Fa la la la la, la la la.
These North Poles were made for pleasure,
Fa la la la la, la la la.

Fucked the elves, fucked all the reindeer,
Fa la la la la, la la la.
Fuck the cookies, bring us COLD BEER! Fa la la la la, la la la.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Silver Shells

City sidewalks, bloody sidewalks,
slick with holiday gore,
in the air there's a smell of explosives. Children wailing, people
screaming,
as they run for their lives,
from the gunman who has taken the store.

Silver bells, shotgun shells,
It's Christmas time in the city.
Rink ka-chink, hear them ring,
Today is your last Christmas day.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

When the Saints Come Marching In

Oh when the saints,
come marching in,
all wearing red and drinking gin.
You'd better stand back, Mr. Shopper,
When the saints come marching in.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Christmas Song

Claymore bursting on perimeters,
shrapnel ripping through the snow,
Santa Claus clutching a hole in his side,
and elf parts with mistletoe.

Looks like Santa didn't know the password,
or maybe Rudolph tripped a wire,
there's bloody toys and goodies,
all roasting in the fire,
in what was Santa's sleigh.

Napalm streaming out of F-16s,
tracers light up the sky,
that'll teach you a lesson, you fat S.O.B.,
Merry Christmas, now die!
------------------------------------------------------------------------

White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas,
just like the ones I used to know.
Where the tree stumps glisten,
and the children listen,
on cell phones for good deals on blow.

Everybody knows,
somebody with missing teeth.
Piles of trash out on the lawn,
tiny tots beaten black and blue,
and Mama selling men her soul.

Street gangs drive by and open fire,
officer blue blows off your nose.
And though it has been sad,
many hours of the day,
Scary Christmas to you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Favorite Things

Halogen uplights and big-muscled fellas
Pink puffy draperies and drinks with umbrellas
Brown Puerto Rican boys tied up with string
These are a few of my favorite things

Penthouse magazine and silicone breasts
Girls dressed in leather with tatoos on their chests
Blonde lesbo orgies, a quick mid-day fling,
These are a few of my favorite things.

When the whip cracks (oww)
When the cane stings (ooo)
When I'm feeling bad
I just think of a few of my favorite things,
And then I get hard...for Dad.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

******************Santa Jokes*******************

* What's the perfect Christmas gift for the person who has
everything?
A broad spectrum antibiotic.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Why do women love Santa Claus?
He comes only once a year, but when he does, he fills their
stockings!
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Did you hear about the dyslexic devil worshipper that sold his
soul to Santa?
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* We were so poor when I was young that we couldn't afford
ornaments for our Christmas tree. We had to sit around and wait
for Grandpa to sneeze.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* What do you call Santa's Helpers?
Subordinate clauses.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* All I want for Christmas is a box of Smurfs and a mallet.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* What did the deaf, dumb and blind kid get for Christmas?
Cancer.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* What does Santa call reindeer that don't work?
Dinner.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* What do the female reindeer do when Santa takes the male
reindeer out on Christmas Eve?
They go into town and blow a few bucks.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Did you ever hear of Adolph the brown-nosed reindeer?
He could run as fast as Rudolf, he just couldn't stop as fast.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Why are women's breasts like a train set a kid gets at
Christmas time?
Because they were originally made for children but the father
wants to play with them.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Why doesn't Santa have any children?
Because he only comes once a year, and when he does, it's
down the chimney.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* How are a Christmas tree and a priest alike?
They both have ornamental balls.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Why is Christmas just like a day at the office?
You do all the work and the fat guy with the suit gets all the credit.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Why did the snowman have a smile on his face?
Because the snowblower was coming down the block.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* What do you call 12 days of blowjobs during the holiday
season?
Hanukah Lewinski
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* A little boy had been waiting in a long line to sit on Saint
Nick's lap. He finally gets his shot and climbs up. Santa says,
(touching the little boy on the nose with his finger) "I'll bet you'd
like a puppy for Christmas."

The boy shakes his head, "No."

Santa: (Touching the little boy on the nose with his finger again)
Well, then I'll bet you'd like a kitten for Christmas.

The boy again shakes his head, "No."

Santa: Then what would you like for Christmas, little boy?

Boy: I want some pussy!

Santa: (Startled & almost speechless) Well, I don't have any of
that!

Boy: (Touching Saint Nick on nose) Yes you do, because I can
smell it on your fingers!
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* What's the difference between snowmen and snowwomen?
Snowballs.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* How do you know you're a redneck?
Your truck has a nativity scene on the dashboard.

Hi fellow lovers of life, fun, art and one-another! I miss our get-
togethers, and those of you I know or have just met. So I'm
celebrating my birthday 6-9 pm this Wednesday (Nov. 19) at Novak's Bar
& Grill, 4146 Manchester in "downtown" St. Louis just two blocks west
of the Vandeventer-Choteau intersection. I hope you'll come by if you
can; it'd be a great warm-up for Fire Spinning at the Museum!
Anyone's welcome to come help celebrate "my big $0". No cover! Look
for the revelers on their heated patio; I'll be the one in
mah "birthday" suit!
    Novak's is a "lesbian" bar, but it's friendly to all good folks;
thanks for having us, Nancy! It's happy hour until 7. And if you're
in the neighborhood on Monday the 17th, that's Novak's celebration (4
pm-1:30 am) of ANYONE 21-and-over born in November; with i.d. and
food purchase (even just fries) birthday guys and gals get a free
bucket of beer.
I hope y'all can come. Look forward to meeting more fellow
groupies again, or for the first time. It's a public social event, so
we can't get outrageously wild; but it'll still be fun! No presents,
but I will accept all kisses and spanks!
Have a great holiday season, and thanks for the friendships (even
from my enemies!)!

S A N T A R C H Y S T L 12-6-2003

Save the Date, December 6, 2003

Only 29 days ‘til they let the Santas Out.

It's Santarchy time again. Get out your Santa Suit
and get ready to get jolly. December 6th, the Santas
will gather together to march through this city in
proclamation of... I guess the Holiday Season. Come
dressed as your own inner Santa Claus or in whatever
way the Holiday inspires you. We will be rampaging
through Metro St. Louis from bar to bar starting in
the U-City Loop, with many wonderful photo op stops in
between. Santa's Reindeer will still be out to
pasture, so we'll mostly be taking the MetroLink and
Buses to get around. Don't forget to bring gifts for
people. The exact schedule has not yet been
determined

NOTE:
This event is not intended to be a protest of
Christmas (unless you choose it to be).
This event is not intended to be a celebration of
Christmas (unless you choose it to be).
This event IS intended to be whatever you choose it to
be.

I myself am going to dress up as Santa Clause and give
away candy and coal to good and bad little boys and
girls.

"...alas, I will not be in the region for some time."

The elf takes another swig. "But--but it is duly noted. And I mean
DULY. Damned if *this* elf is gonna forget about the burning man. No
way."

The elf stares down into his mug. A somber look crosses his face.

"Poor, poor man."

And then he's out.

--The little elf. Yeah, yeah--the drunk one.

Hey there little elf. Are you thinking about
coming to the St. Louis Burning Man Gathering?
A bunch of us will be camping toghether, and
we're working on travel logistics, as well
as swapping stories, showing pictures, and
telling jokes.

Come on down!

All right St. Louis Burners and potential burners.  It's WAAAAYYYYY overdue but here is the the link to the St. Louis Santarchy sight.  It's still not done (There's a little too much future tense in the text), but the pictures are there.  Check it out.

HO HO uH-Oh!

Close your eyes and imagine it, gaggles of drunken Santa Clauses, men and women, stumbling en mass through St. Louis complete with presents to give away.   Of course, everyone has a different interpretation of their inner-Santa.

Remember, this is not an organized event.   It's just an idea.   It is your own responsibility dress up, find your way around, and stay out of jail.

Here are some questions and answers that have been posed about Santarchy:

Q1- About passing out candy to children, “did you mean Cum Candy??  That is horrible Santarchy dude.”

A1- No, not Cum Candy, but I'd sure like to see that.  At Santarchys around the country, a common problem is that children actually come up to drunk Santas and ask for presents.  Look at it from their perspective, It's Santa!  He must have a present, right?  I've going to have lumps of coal and candy canes for the little kids depending on if they've been naughty or nice.  Someone in Portland got arrested for giving coal wrapped in porn to a little kid.  Great idea for adults, but not so good for the lil’uns

Q2- My friends and I want to partake in this weekend's festivities.  Do we need to bring ID's and are those over 18 but under 21 allowed to party with us too?

A2- Partake, DEFINATELY partake in the festivities.  That's what festivities are for.  As for your question, we'll be going to bars.  Whether or not they let minors or under 21ers in is up to them.  They don't even necessarily know that we're coming.

Q3- Who the heck are you ANYWAY????

A3- Hi, my name's Lohr.  Look for me.  You can't miss me.  I'll be the one dressed as Santa.

I hope to see you out there Santa, and you too Santa, and you too Santa...

THIS SATURDAY 12/21! get out your old Santa Suit, wrap up some presents for strangers, get come candy for the little kiddies, and fill up the flask with something tasty.  It's Santarchy time!!!

S A N T A R C H Y  S T L  12-21-2002

Don't take any crap from the fat man.
Only a few more days left to be naughty, so let's
make'em count.

Come protest the commercialization and corporatization
of X-mas and support some very anti-holiday oriented
radical self-expression. Come dressed as Santa and
join in on the rampage through STL staring in the
Loop, on through the CWE and Union Station (the
shoppers will love us) finishing in Soulard. All via
the MetroLink and the Bi-State bus with stops at many
bars.

Come dressed as your inner-Santa, prepared to spread
anti-corporate rhetoric at every turn. Give gifts of
lumps of coal, pieces of trash or other inappropriate
items. Prepare anti-Christmas carols and sing them,
whatever you want to do. You can be dancing-Santa,
really-really-annoying-Santa or
whatever-the-freak-you-want-Santa. Take the concept
and run with it.

This is a self-inspired event so get your friends and
costumes together and show up any time and place on
the schedule. Other Santas will be there.

Santarcy is the brain-child of the Cacophony Society
and if St. Louis has a successful Santarchy, a
Cacophony Society lodge will be formed in St. Louis,
and our wonderful photos of the event will be put on
their web site for the whole world to enjoy.

weird in that good way.

This isn't just a pub-crawl. This is a protest! It's a rampage!
It's a lashing out against the crime and insult of what X-mas has

I have a vision. A vision of dozens of drunken
Santa Clauses, men and women, stumbling in mass
through St. Louis. complete with mega-phones and
presents to give away to good a bad little girls
that we encounter. People could even come up with
their own different interpretations of their
inner-Santa. It could be loud-Santa, dancing-Santa,
dirty-Santa, mean-Santa, or anything else Santa.

I wish I could claim that this was totally my idea,
but I think we've all heard about these Sant pub
crawls for years. I've even attached a link to a
web site dedicated to Santarchy, another name
for this event, www.santarchy.com. I've already
talked to the keeper of that web site, and if we
get enough people, and enough pictures, they'll
include us on the web site. The person I talked
to didn't think I could get enough people into it
St. Louis, I think she WRONG!!!

BEWARE OF SANTARCHY ST. LOUIS, BEWARE!!!

Anyway, if there is really interest among you, my
friends, I'll really pursue putting this together.
I think we can pull it off.

Check out the Web site, www.santarchy.com
They even have links on where to buy Santa Suits
on line for as cheap as $29.95 I think I saw.

Either the weekend of Dec 14-15 or Dec 21-22
