Welcome to your St. John's Freecycle(TM)! We are a locally-administered group open to all who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, you can post it here!

The great thing about Freecycle (TM) is that it works both ways; if you need something, ask for it! There might just be somebody out there who has one to give away.

St. John's Freecycle is *NOT* a business, nor is it a charity. It is not meant to be used for making money; in fact, there is no money involved at all! People sharing the Freecycle (TM) philosophy simply want to keep perfectly good, usable things, out of the garbage. You are dealing with individual people, and not a business or corporation.

The Freecycle(TM) idea came from The Freecycle Network (TM), an organization interested in keeping good stuff out of landfills. Check out freecycle.org for more info.

OFFER (if you have something to give away)
WANTED (if you are looking for something)
TAKEN (if an item you offered has been picked up)
RECEIVED (if you have recieved an item)
These are the only types of posts allowed on Freecycle. All posts should fit the group rules as outlined on the "Files" page. If in doubt, send it anyway, and let the mods deal with it :)
