'Sup?! Welcome to the Yahoo! Groups page for The C.R.E.W., the youth of Still Water Community Church. We are a fellowship of young people from 6th through 12th grade in Rowlett, TX.

What does "C.R.E.W." stand for? Check it out:

to everyone that He provides opportunity. (SW's vision)

We love Jesus, each other, our families, and our community, and we are committed to reaching our generation with the love and hope of Christ. And having a blast in the process!

Psalm 23 tells us that the Lord "...leads us beside still waters." The Still waters are a place of peace, of contentment. A place where you know you belong and are safe regardless of how the storms of life rage around you. But here's the coolest part: it's when the waters are still that you can have the greatest impact!

Check out the picture to the right. See the effect that one single drop can have on still water? Those ripples will continue to radiate across the surface of the water, touching and changing things far beyond their source. The same is true for us! When we are right with God (i.e. "beside the still waters"), just a single act of faith (like having the courage to invite a friend to youth group) can yield results that reach far beyond yourself, affecting God's Kingdom in dramatic ways!
