WHAT IS THE STEEL TIGERS YAHOO GROUP?
This Yahoo Group is an informal way to keep in touch with others in the Steel Tigers family. The Steel Tigers 77th Armor Association is a fellowship of mounted warriors that fought together in the World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, and now fights in Iraq. We are soldiers. We are veterans. We are tankers, scouts, cavalrymen, artillerymen, medics, engineers, mechanics, cooks, and every other MOS that serves our county in times of war. We are proud of our service to our country, and we honor the special friendships that grow from trusting our brothers in arms in battle and sharing a common struggle against tyranny. We cherish those special bonds, and we honor the memory of those who died on the battlefield.


WHO MAY JOIN THE STEEL TIGERS YAHOO GROUP?
This group is open to all of the valiant tankers from the 77th Armor Regiment who served so willingly and bravely in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Kosovo, and who continue to serve in Iraq. Any MOS that served or serves with the 77th may join. The group is also open to the family of those who served or serve in the 77th.


SUBSCRIBING TO THE LISTS
Since the Steel Tigers discussion lists are private, you must email the moderator first, telling them that you are or were a Steel Tiger or the family of a Steel Tiger (with some sort of reasonable identifying information like the years you served), in order to join.

The primary way of participating in the group is through a local email mailing list. The lists are discussion-oriented and may be high-volume at times. It is suggested that you use the digest version if you want to limit the number of emails you can receive from the group to a maximum of one per day.
