The Steam Era Trains Weathering Group is a group created for the discussion of how to realistically weather engines and rolling stock from a time before 1960. The group will be used as a place to discuss techniques used and supplies available in order to realistically achieve the look of weathered engines and equipment from the 1860 to 1960 time frame. The group is not scale-specific or proto-specific, but models discussed will focus upon North American railroads exclusively. Thank you, and enjoy your membership in the Steam Era Trains Weathering Group.
