Welcome to the Ancient city of Aquatica. Discovered by SG-1 during a recon mission to a planet found in the Ancient database of Atlantis, the IOA determined to transfer the SGC Alpha Site to Aquatica and to create a new outpost for exploration. Aquatica is under the command of General Sergio Marino, who commands two SG teams as well as the day to day operations of Aquatica. Aquatica was designed by the Ancients to actually remain submerged and is currently being powered by 3 ZPM modules, and also has a store house of fully charged ZPM’s some of which have been relocated to Atlantis. Aquatica is located in the outer edge of the Milky Way Galaxy and is able to house several thousand people, being a complete city instead of just the star drive section.
