The purpose of Southern Sons of Liberty is to oppose governmental intrusion on the lives of the American people, so that we are free to enjoy our God-given natural rights, which include life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. To unite individuals and groups in (your state) to protect, guard and die if necessary for the causes of Freedom and Liberty.
The basic beliefs of the Southern Sons of Liberty are best stated in the U.S. Declaration of Independence: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
The Southern Sons of Liberty are a militia, (political organization) for the purposes of the state of Maryland. We adhere to states right and are ready to war with those who would take our guns and freedoms. It is our belief that from April 19, 1861 to the present, the founding fathers original intent for the constitution has been serverly distorted. We mean to restore the republic to the founders original intent or secede, from the now police state we call the federal government.
The main purpose for this egroup is communication, contact info, southern heritage awareness and southern party recruitment. We discuss southern heritage, militia info & alerts, patriot news & issues.
