Good Morning, The plans came for my PAC 5 spud gun (designed by xinventions). You would think that a simple 3" washer would be easy to find...impossible!...
Hi Don, I dropping in here cold.... What kind of material are we talking about? What is it used for? I used 3" rubber washers on the face of my piston to...
... of the ... diameters. ... Thanks for your reply. Huge rubber washers are a great idea for the seal. The plans call for 1/4" sheet neoprene cut to fit. I...
Don, I'm not familiar with the plan you're working from, but it sounds like these washers go on either end of the piston. On my gun I used a 2" shed. 80 ...
The plans call for a 3" sch40 couple sanded down enough to make a sliding fit within 4" sch40 PVC pipe...About 1/8" material will need to be removed from the...

Don, Looks like you really got people out of the wood work on this one .....I love it! I got started on these things when I saw my first combustion cannon ...
Thanks for your reply. Huge rubber washers are a great idea for the seal. The plans call for 1/4" sheet neoprene cut to fit. I will keep those rubber...
With regard to the plan specifications for the piston of the PAC 5...they are wrong. A 3" couple already fits very nicely into the bore of a 4" inch PVC pipe....
I have a few questions. are the pistons much stronger than just plain diaphragms? Also where can I get a good sheet of neoprene that is good for a diaphragm....
Don, Don't forget to crown the end of the barrel where the piston seats against it for a good seal and a "recoil" spring behind the piston helps it to seal ...
