Hi Everyone!
My family (and a bunch of other locals) got their free burrito
yesterday from the new Chipotles restaurant. A car salesman from
across the street was watching the line for the free food (you know
how much Springfield folks LOVE free food!) and estimated that they
may have given out as much as $30,000 in free food. I am curious how
close his guess was to Chipotles reality.
Today's deal (Fri Jul 25, 2008) is that the first 100-200 people to
purchase a burrito after 3pm today will receive a free Chipotles
t-shirt. The sign said 100 people, someone there said 200, so I'll
mention both numbers.
I plan on having photos available soon, but wanted to give someone a
chance here to get a t-shirt.
One thing I'd like to see Chipotles improve is their non-alcoholic
beverage selection. If you avoid caffeine, artificial sweeteners and
high fructose corn syrup, you're pretty much left with water.
An option for a fresh fruit smoothie or some kefir would be nice.
With spicy food, a smoothie, kefir or even some mild would be appreciated.
