Providing Safe Space for `like-minded' fire people to come be Free within the Flames since the Fall of 2000, Spinning Time w/Alchemy is a group of fire performers and non-performers, fire safety, security guardians, drummers and dancers who gather @Alchemy's Alcove (Cisco, TX) for a WeekEnd (Fri evening-Sun Afternoon) of Drumming, Spinning and Dancing with Fire (and Glowsticks).

Primitive camping on a private 40+ acre property (working farm) in a rural setting within a Two hour drive of Dallas/Ft. Worth - only 45 miles from Abilene, TX.

Share and learn new skills while practicing with poi chains, fans, staff and swords. Dress appropriately (100% cotton/leather) if planning to spin with fire. Bring your own equipment (including glowsticks and/or approved fuel), chairs, drums, munchies and drinks.  Fire pit with grill usually burning for PotLuck with s'mores, veggie and carnivorous encounters. Camping Fees waived although $Love$ Donations Accepted.

All fire performers are encouraged to become actively involved in the establishment and implementation of federal, state and local fire safety statutes relating to Fire Performance (Flame Effects), including testing, licensing, permits, and insurance requirements.

Sober Spinning w/Sober Safety. We strive to maintain national safety guidelines by using NAFAA's Performer Safety Guidelines which attends to the concerns of public health and safety as applied to the Performing Fire Arts. Care is taken to attend to volatile vapor concerns, structural fire prevention, wildfire prevention and clean air concerns.
