Spectrum is a Boston University organization devoted to the queer community on campus. Our purpose is to organize cultural, social and political events, as well as facilitate increased public awareness, tolerance, and support for the GLBTQA community. We are open to all individuals regardless of sexual orientation, biological s_ex, gender identity, nationality, ethnicity, race, religion, socioeconomic status or political affiliation.

We strive to provide an atmosphere of tolerance and acceptance for all our members, on campus and off, and also to give our members a variety of fun, and rewarding club activities, events, and outings throughout the semester.

This coming semester, we're looking forward to weekly meetings every Tuesday, 7:15-9 pm, locations to be announced. There will also be many special events throughout the semester so keep your eyes open.

We send updates via Horde, Facebook, and Yahoogroups, so be sure to email spectrum@bu.edu, join this yahoogroup, and/or join our facebook group to be added to the email list that will update you on future events and announcements! Also, if you have a question or topic to pose to all Spectrum members, you can do so by emailing the address at the bottom of the page: spectrumbu@yahoogroups.com. Once the message is approved, the message will be sent to the entire group.
