Welcome to SPECIAL PARENTS OF EMOTIONALLY CHALLENGING KIDS (SPECK). We are excited to have you join us. So much can be learned from one another and there is no greater truth in that statements, as then when we all find that we have something in common. In this group our commonality may not be the emotional illness/es that our children have, but is more likely to be that we are parenting children who are many times very emotionally challenging children to parent.

I invite you to share, discover, support in positive uplifting ways. Always remember that we are all at different levels, places, stages and ages with our children. While you may offer advice that worked for you in a particular instance, it may not work for another. Please be open minded about that.

Also, while this is not a Christian site persay, I am a Christian and as owner of this site very often pray for those who respond on this list.
