Welcome to the Special Needs Families in France forum.

This private forum was formed to provide an online support network to English-speaking families living in France with loved ones with learning disabilities or other special needs.

This group offers peer-to-peer support and information in English to help English-speakers on aspects like getting a diagnosis in France, finding qualified help, obtaining educational resources, obtaining state allowances and sharing about the daily challenges of raising a child with special needs in France.

Members are welcome if they (1) live in France permanently or on an expat basis, (2) have children with special needs (3) can communicate in English (all nationalities are welcome).

Special needs include, autism and spectrum disorders, dyslexia, apraxia, dyspraxia, developmental delays, ADHD, down syndrome and other genetic disorders, cerebral palsy.
