SPANISH CONVERSATION
| Informal monthly gatherings in Phoenix or nearby to use and practice Spanish and meet others with the same interest. Conversation on many topics (suggest your own!). Occasional outings and dinner meetings. We could meet more often if there is member interest. |
Intermediate or better Spanish language fluency is helpful, but everyone is welcome. New members, inquiries, and program suggestions also welcome. We usually meet in central Phoenix near major freeways on the second Saturday of each month. Members who sign up for e-mail receive meeting reminder announcements. We're a Yahoo group and there is no cost to join or participate.

In addition to meeting announcements, you'll get access to the calendar and e-mail exchanges with the group (public) or with individual members (private). If you wish, you can opt out of group e-mail and check the website from time to time instead. The moderator reviews all messages sent to the group and deletes sales pitches of any kind so you don't get them. You can always communicate privately with another member if you wish.
Members can add tips and recommendations for books and media, classes, trips, photos, events, volunteer opportunities. Just click Messages > Post at the left. Take a look, and share your own great ideas!
