This is the official e-group of the Acting Clinic of the Society of Performing Arts-Talents Development Guild.
The Acting Clinic of SPA-TDG is the first Filipino community-based youth theater organization in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Originally geared to introduce the youth to the theater arts, the clinic has opened its doors to entire Filipino expatriate community to accomodate their interest in the performing arts.
For its latest production, the Clinic presents "Magkabilang Mukha ng Hustisya" featuring "Moses, Moses" by Rogelio Sikat and "Ang Paglilitis ni Mang Serapio" by Paul A. Dumol at the International Philippine School in Al-Khobar (IPSA) on September 6 and 7, 2007 with matinee shows at 2 p.m. and gala shows at 6 p.m.
Previous productions include:
1) "Kulay Abo ang Madaling Araw," September 16, 2005 (matinee and gala) at the Gulf Pearl Auditorium
2) "Kulay Abo ang Madaling Araw," February 15 & 16, 2006 at the International Philippine School in Al Khobar (IPSA)
3) "Apat na Sulok ng Pag-Ibig," a compedium of four one-act plays, three of which were written by Filipinos, October 5 and 6, 2006 at the Philippine School in Dammam (Al Jazeera International School)
The group works alongside Entablado Filipino, the first Filipino community-based theater group in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
