SWAN, the Southwest Adoption Nexus, is a Southern California based organization whose purpose is to provide information, education, advocacy and support for all who are touched by adoption and foster care. This is accomplished through specialized programs, social support networks, adoption related events and publications and more.

SWAN is not a child placement service, but works actively with a number of agencies and professionals to promote education and cultural events through our annual conferences, workshops, and seminars and training sessions throughout the year.

SWAN incorporated in 2010 to serve as a resource and support for those living with or considering creating their families through adoption.

SWAN believes that every intended parent and every child has the right to a loving family.
